The Strike Zone - Safe Opening Plan _ March 18, 2022

2020-06-25

Please read important information regarding re-opening of The Strike Zone.

The Strike Zone continues to offer space and instruction for the baseball community.  Currently we are booking individual lessons, instructions for groups and team rentals.  There are some important measures being put in place to ensure the safety of all who enter the facility:

# of individuals - The maximum number of people in the facility at any one time will be controlled in accordance with the health and safety of the individuals in mind and the provincial guidelines as they apply at the time.  One parent is allowed to enter to watch the private sessions.  Siblings and other family members will be prohibited from entering.

Payment.  The administrator will collect payment from the attendees prior to them entering the training area.   All payments will be cashless.

Cleaning  All participants will be required to sanitize their hands upon entering.

Participants – All participants must complete the online self-assessment provided by the Provincial government (either through the OnDeck app or through COVID-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment) prior to attending; should they fail the assessment they MUST NOT attend.

All clinic registrants must provide a phone number or email address in order to allow for contact .  All participants must bring their own equipment.  Clinics will be separated by 15 minutes in order to allow for cleaning and reduce the possibility of cross-contamination of participants.  Teams must maintain their own attendance records.

Although the provincial mancdate regarding wearing masks has been lifted, we leave it at the option of individual to do what they feel best for themselves.
